GenoVive’s foods taste great because they start with delicious all-natural ingredients. The proteins, carbohydrates and fats in your daily meals have been put together in the right combination for your individual metabolic needs.

There are many food products out there that claim to be natural, but GenoVive's food scientists go beyond what's required on food labels to the raw ingredients of each and every product.  For example:  dinner entrees that have sauces which contain wine (such as chicken breast with marsala sauce) use specially selected sulfite-free wine.

 

GenoVive foods have been carefully sourced to avoid:

  • Growth hormones
  • Antibiotics
  • Preservatives such as BHA or BHT
  • Artificial coloring/food dye
  • Nitrates
  • Sulfites
  • Other similar incidental ingredients that may not be required to appear on the food label

 

Proteins:

  • Certified hormone and antibiotic free meats
  • Naturally lean proteins low in saturated fat
  • Free from nitrates and preservatives
  • Nuts, seeds, and legumes
  • Whey protein
  • Soy protein

 

Carbohydrates:

  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • Low level of refined sugar
  • No artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols
  • Low glycemic index/load
  • Natural inulin from agave as a prebiotic
  • Natural fiber
  • Whole grains

 

Fats:

  • No trans fats
  • Extra-virgin olive oil high in monounsaturated fat
  • Flax seed and nuts high in omega-3 fats
  • Free from preservatives and chemical stabilizers

 

What types of foods will you find in your daily meal kits each day?  That will vary depending on your customized meal program, but here are some examples:

 

  • Breakfasts may include hot whole grain cereals with 5 different whole grains and real fruit, crispy cereals (skim milk optional) with as much protein as 2 eggs, fruit and nut granola squares, protein frappe drinks and more.
  • Snacks include ready to drink real fruit smoothies (just refrigerate and insert straw), peanut butter and chocolate protein bars, fruit and nut snack mixes, savory cheese puffs and more.
  • Enjoy a hearty hot lunch in ready to eat microwaveable bowls such as Chicken & Sausage Gumbo or Vegetable Minestrone with a whole grain flat bread.
  • Dinner entrees include natural hormone and antibiotic free lean meats, with savory sauces and a variety of side dishes including beans, wild rice, pasta and vegetables
